KHMU Launches 2007 Struggle

On 8 June the Korean Health & Medical Workers'Union (KHMU) held a rally to declare 2007 struggle for facilitating collective bargaining and stopping the reform of medical law in Seoul.

In the rally where two thousand of KHMU workers participated, Hong Myung-Ok, president of KHMU said, "We need to stage all-out struggle in order to gain the main union demands in the 2007 collective bargaining and stop the reform of medical law aiming for commercialization of health service.

After the rally, the participants marched downtownof Seoul to make public the union demands and dangerousness of the medical law reform.
