Meanwhile, the KHMU congress on October 4 was reported about the process of reaching agreement on the standard wage system guideline in accordance with transition of contract and outsourced jobs to permanent jobs in the public hospital members of the KHMU. The members of the congress highly evaluated the result of the agreement given that it paved a way to ensure ▲ direct employment by parent companies, as opposed to subsidiaries; and employment buyout ▲ the salary step system instead of job-based payment ▲ no lowering of the existing wage and increasing wage ▲ the unified wage system by industries, and also considering it makes a breakthrough for transition of outsourced jobs to directly employed jobs. In addition, following the agreement, the KHMU will strength the fight to make casual/temporary workers permanent.
At the congress, the 2018 first half of the year settlement and audit were also conducted.
