[labor news] Inter-Korean workers' friendly soccer matches played in Seoul for the implementation of Panmunjom Declaration   
▲ Workers who played in two friendly soccer matches between trade unions of the two Koreas: one between the Federation of Korean Trade Unions(FKTU) of South Korea and the construction industry of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea(GFTUK) of North Korea, and the other between the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions(KCTU) of South Korea and the light industry of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea(GFTUK) of North Korea pose for a photo August 11 at Sangam World Cup Stadium. It was the first civilian exchange between South and North Korea, after the Panmunjom Declaration of the inter-Korean summit was adopted on April 27. A 64-member North Korean workers' delegation led by Ju Yong-gil, chariman of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea visited South Korea on August 10 and returned to North Korea on August 12. (Jeong Ki-hoon/The Labor Today)
